| | | Re: where did you walk today? This is not truly on topic but it is where I went for a walk today.
I went for a tramp across the fields this morning, I had promised myself a wander yesterday, but... I'm ambling happily along on the path head in the air watching a Buzzard and fell over a dead sheep.
Been dead about two days I'd say. It had been ripped open along its right side. It wasn't a dog or even a pack of dogs that did it. I've seen dog-attacked sheep and this was nothing like that. I called the police and told them I'd meet them at the main road to lead them to it. They turned up with a forensic chap, the Sergeant told me this is the third sheep found around this area in this state in the last three months. I had taken shots with the mobile but the police asked me to delete them which I did as I'd only taken them to prove what I'd seen when the police turned up. I wouldn't have wanted them anyway.
The police wouldn't say much but the Sarge, an older, rotund chap was doing the 'eerie, creepy bit'. So if you hear of the 'North Worcester Beast' you know what's going on.
I reckon it's some bloody lunatic trying to get into the papers. I hope he/she gets into a nice secure room somewhere a long way away from animals.
