| | | Re: where did you walk today? My coat? Oh, I took it off when I came in. It's hanging up by the front door - why, do you want to borrow it? I'll send it over ASAP, I'm done with it for today. Just re-post it when your finished.

| | | Re: where did you walk today? Today's walk was round the Dunham Massey estate (National Trust) in Cheshire, with the missus and the nipper. A bit grey, with a few spots of rain, but some splendid old trees and lots of Fallow Deer. Most frustrating sighting was a woodpecker. It sounded exactly like a Lesser Spotted, but looked a little too big. Frustrating as I have only ever seen one of these before and that was about 25 years ago, and I just can't be 100 per cent with this one today.

| | | Re: where did you walk today? Had a walk around Newent Lake which would have been beautiful but for the semi submerged rubbish in the middle. Then went to Baisden and wondered around a wood nearby. Lovely, full of birdsong.
I love long views. They feed my soul. This is across the Severn valley. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
