Lovely and sunny and I had a Comma flutter by me and land on a fence while I was looking in a pond which is supposed to be home to Great Crested Newts - never ever seen any though
Here's the Comma |
Cheers Cheryl.
Great pic of the comma. |

| | | Re: where did you walk today? It was lovely and sunny in my back garden so I went to Thursley Common where it was considerably less sunny and a bit chilly
Saw a Peacock Butterfly, several lizards, stone chats, and the curlew are back - just managed to see one (I heard it first) but it was too far away for me to get a decent picture but I think you can just about make it out |

The river was quite swollen after all the rain last Summer and water was actually lapping over the top of the stones.
Well, I wasn't going to let that stop me (even though I can't swim very well ), so I took a deep breath and just went for it! I did wobble a bit here and there but made it in the end! They seemed to go on forever that day
Fully waterproof boots and gaiters are brilliant bits of kit at times like that!
