| | | Re: where did you walk today? Thanks, Mick. You are right in saying about the Alpacas, what lovely animal's there are. The bridge is lovely to see, even now, there was the Staithes via-duct, but now sadly gone.
One of the gentleman in our walking group used to remember the Saltburn to Whitby and also Whitby to Scarborough railway and how it was great to travel to Scarborough for a day out in the 1950's and early 60's.
He was also born in Saltburn by the Sea and also remembers Saltburn Youth hostel, it was my 1st youth hostel. |

| | | Re: where did you walk today? I did one of my usual walks with the dog alongside the river Cree at Newton Stewart. Its absolutely beautiful, but 2day It was pouring down with rain, so I rushed It a bit & only saw the 1 Mallard. Though I did pass close 2 a cheeky Robin, which stared me out as I passed. It was probably wondering If I had any food on offer. |
