| | | Re: where did you walk today? Walked another part of the Cerne valley above the village of Cerne Abbas. I have a couple more photos, but the system is refusing to upload them for me at the moment, so it's just four for now.
The lakes on the Up Cerne estate, looking south towards Cerne Abbas.
A rotten tree trunk on the same estate.
The Minterne estate across the other side of the valley.
A slightly skewed view of the Cerne Abbas Giant! It is actually very difficult to get a good photo of him from close quarters, due to the steepness of the hill he is on. |

| | | Re: where did you walk today? It`s great to catch up on some of the walks on here, great photos as well. Unfortunately I`ve been tied up with work in the week & watching the girls play rugby on the weekend so I haven`t been able to contribute lately

| | | Re: where did you walk today? had a brilliant half day walking around Moore Nature Reserve near Warrington. We went to see Lesser Spots but weren’t lucky this time, lots of Great Spots pairing up and saw many other common species. It’s a good place to go for all abilities in walking, because most of it is flat and their is a goodly length of path that's negotiable by wheelchair.

| | | Re: where did you walk today? Took a stroll up a local valley and up to the mooredge in the South Pennines. Conditions, very sunny and reasonably mild. I also saw my first returning Curlews to local hills. Always a seasonal delight.
