| | | The Beach in Winter Hi,
I just joined the forum and I live in the USA. I will be travelling in the UK this winter and enjoy beachwalks. We will be starting out in Seaham - is it possible to walk the beaches during that time or is the North Sea too wild - in other words is the beach still accessible?
Thanks,
Ruby |

I have walked some of that area myself in winter and most of the beaches are accessible. you may find some smaller beaches inaccessible at high tide or when there is a gale force wind blowing. |

If your close to Lincolnshire around the 3rd/4th week of November be sure to check out the Grey Seal colony at Dona Nook, It's one of Britains most accessable colonies and the Grey Seals will be giving birth around that time
