Yorkshire - The Wolds Way

I'm wondering if any of our members are familiar with the Wolds Way in Yorkshire. Some areas of the wolds are really beautiful, more gentle perhaps than the Moors and the sight of some of the valleys intrigues me, as I drive through.

If anyone has any tips on particularly good stretches of this walk I'd be very grateful. Access by bus, accommodation/refreshments locally etc. is also what I'm looking for. Many thanks.

Home - Yorkshire Wolds Way - National Trails Try this Tinkerbell. I just typed 'Wolds Way' into google and loads of stuff came up. I've done a little walking in the Yorkshire Wolds and I was quite taken with the landscape.

Try Welcome to Robeanne Guest House for accomodation, its about 1/2 mile from the WW.
The Goodmanham Arms at Goodmanham (on the WW), are very obliging but don`t do accomodation.
The Tiger Inn at North Newbald (on the WW), does suberb food.
Pocklington and Market Weighton are well served by public transport and would make good bases.
The Yorkway Motel at Pocklington might suit you and there is The Londesboro Hotel at Market Weighton.
