| | | Re: Trailer Tents My advice would be to go and view as many as possible when they are up,(quite a few companies do it)this will let your brother see the space and poles etc to see if it is large and strong enough for his needs. The main things I would look at are the weight of it, the strength of zips (as some can be rather poor quality),the quality of the poles and the material.
Hope this helps a bit.

| | | Re: Trailer Tents I had a raclet trailer tent for years,,,, It was brilliant.. My main advise would be dont buy one without actually trying to erect it yourself, The difference in ease and time to put one up between manufacturers and models is truly amazing. Also if you get a used one you should usually get loads of stuff thrown in like electric hook up etc..
I always rated Trigano and Raclet very highly....
Think carefully about if you want one for longer trips or if you are likely to make quick stops on route as some can be part assembled to allow quick overnight stops on route. Also many have built in kitchens.....Also consider the storage space that is in the trailer, It is amazing how much stuff you will end up wanting to pack in to take. and regarding that consider getting a braked trailer all that weight can put a bit of strain on your cars brakes...
Do some research and try and view as many as possible,,,,
