I have to go with Rob spending more time in the Dales though (and as a Lancastrian it pains me to say this!). As much as I love the Forest of Bowland, the Yorkshire Dales is my favourite English landscape. My forebears will never forgive me! If Scotland was in the mix however, I would have to give it more thought........no I wouldn't, the western Highlands and Isles would win (I think).
