I had that happen to me on Tiree in June last year, my tent had 3 Corncrakes around it, they all started at 11pm and didn't shut up until 4am. I wouldn't have minded so much if I'd even gotten a peep at one, but they all stayed stubbornly hidden in the vegetation.

Gorgeous island though, well worth a visit, I'd really recommend it.

Islandgirl's last activity on WAB was in June 2006, which is such a shame! I'd love to have heard more about the fantastic wildlife on the Isle of Coll.
