| | | Tin Tent I collected my Eriba Puck L 230GT today just a 2-berth but should make visits to Slapton and further afield more comfortable
It rained nonstop and in monsoon quantities on the drive up to Lechlade,
the motorway was a nightmare of stairrod rain and spray.I have never known a day like it and I wern't lookin' forward to the journey 'ome neither
It actually snowed heavily all the way home a veritable blizzard, caravan safely parked ready for our first outing sometime in Feb

| | | Re: Tin Tent good luck with the "Tin Tent" Nightshade. I make frequent visits
to the Slapton campsite myself, so attach a WAB flag to your
"Tin Tent" and I'll look out for you. If we do meet up I'll even let
you buy me a pint in The Queens Head

| | | Re: Tin Tent Just out of interest Nightshade, it's an area I know quite well
but I'm always looking for new places to visit. Is there anywhere
in the area you can recommend that I might not of tried.
Ian.

All the very best,

It actually snowed heavily all the way home a veritable blizzard, caravan safely parked ready for our first outing sometime in Feb | Congratulations on becoming the owner of a Puck. We have an Eriba Puck which we collected last August from Barry in the terrible floods. We drove our car Rover 75 TDi and the Puck through water which came just above the doors, and were passed by a boat with an outboard engine on. The Puck didn't let in any water, though we had some problems with the electrics. Unfortunately the inductors on the Rover have since rusted and cost us £1000 to have replaced.
We have found some great little sites. The beauty of the Puck is that you can get it up narrow roads that the big vans can't negotiate. We do a lot of mountain walking, and so we love the peace and quiet in our fabulous little Puck. Have you been on the eriba forum? Eriba Forum. It's a great place for info. |
