Thanks Coasty. After the walk the other day there seemed to be no reaction but after a couple of days I started with a bit of pain again. Anyway with the weather as it is I don't seem to be missing too much.

Glad to hear there's a bit of improvement Dave Kidstypike and that you'll be back in your beloved fells but oooh coasty poor you - I cringed when I read that: I slipped and fell on my left knee cap a few weeks ago in the Lake District (I'm embarrased to say I was on the car park in Ambleside) and I know how painful that has been and I hadn't broken anything......

As the saying goes 'I'm a walking disaster me'!
And yes Rose I'm totally gone on Teva - anyone who hasn't tried them would never suspect how good they are would they?

Anybody else had anything similar?
I did manage a couple of miles yesterday without too much bother but wouldn'tv want to risk it on the Lakeland Fells just yet.
Dave | I'm in terrible pain at the moment. Just started for no obvious reason the other day, top of left foot. It's now so swollen I can't wear my shoes, been out and about in my slippers today. People must think I'm mad.

oh dear - sorry to hear that - it must be worrying if there's no obvious reason for it......
I think I could beat you on the madness-how-it-looks thingie tho: I went to the local Walk-in-Centre and then the On Call Docs with a Buff (those neck-warmer things made all in one peice - better than a scarfe) pulled up over my mouth and nose (had surgery in my mouth) and my Buff is a camoflaged pattern - green and brown splotches........ I got asked was I undergoing terrorist training..........

Best time of year to be laid up, I suppose.
Hope everyone else is recovered.
