I just treat them with Nikwax or similar now and again. | I've never treated my Brashers with Nikwax or anything like that. All they get is a good wash off after a walk and when dry a coat of ordinary brown polish.
Never had a problem on any kind of terrain......That reminds me, I best go wash them!

| | | Re: Material or leather walking boots Leather, unquestionably, is the best. Its lasts longer when looked after properly. Fabric boots have waterproof liners, and there is a school of thought that suggests that within a weeks worth of walking, the menbrane rips anyway due to the bending rubbing and twisting that the boot goes through. its also very easy for the membrane to get punctured too by thistle needles and the like. |
