| | | Garburn Pass Just a couple of pictures here from a walk yesterday around the Garburn Pass area in the SE of the Lake District. It was a changeable sort of day weatherwise and I had to alter my plans as I walked.
At this point I am on my way to Sallows and looking back to Yoke

The weather was ok apart from a brief spell when I was on Sallows when it went quite grey. The main problem was that bank of low cloud that swept in from the southeast as I reached the summit of Yoke spoiling any chance of the pictures I actually wanted.

| | | Re: Garburn Pass As usual your photos bring back happy memories, Dave. I've walked part of the Garburn Pass when I did the Kentmere Round a couple of times (which includes Yoke, of course). Then on a wet day last year my friend and I did a low level walk starting in the village of Kentmere, heading south then over the ridge and back via the Garburn Pass. Happy days! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
