has always interested me. Pen meaning "top", Y meaning "of the",
Ghent being a place in Belgium. wherever you are in Belgium your
normally quite close to the top  .
On a different note, I was almost blown of the top of you whilst
walking A coast to cost walk.

walking A coast to cost walk. | I was once told that Pen-y-ghent in English was Hill of the winds. Whether that is correct or not I do not know. Kidsty Pike is one of my favourite spots, it goes back to the early 80's when I would sit there for ages waiting to catch a glimpse of the golden eagles in Riggindale.
