| | | A little off the beaten track - Glaisdale Dale We've been to Glaisdale in the North Yorkshire Moors before, but today walked the Dale. About six miles all told, of peace and solitude and this on the Friday before a Bank Holiday. Passed many farms on the way round, some having diversified into B&B or holiday cottage businesses - I wish I'd booked a night or two myself. To sit in a garden on a Spring evening looking across the Dale, listening to the birds and animals calling - magic! It was a privilege to be in such a lovely environment - one or two photographs of our route will appear in the The Wild Gallery (The Great Outdoors).
A highly recommended walk. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
