| | | Filming on the local backwaters Hello. For a while now I've had a Sony DCR-SR58 handy cam. I really want to start to film wildlife. I would like to start with the sd one I've got now and move on to hd when I get experience. It has 60x optical zoom. I would like to start on my local backwaters this winter to capture migrant birds and other water birds. It's also popular with seals. I would use a good quality tripod so I can zoom in without the image shaking. Any advice and what might I be able to film? Thanks. |

You could try 'story-boarding' a short film, and then try and get the short clips to make it up. For example you might start with some general views of the landscape as an introduction, then shots of the wildlife. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
