I'm new to this site but I just recently finished my Wildlife Documentary called 'Over the Hill' based on the wildlife around my house in Lancashire.

One thing that I'd personally have done differently would be deinterlacing, as that doesn't really work on progressive scan displays, and consumes compression bandwidth that could go elsewhere in the image.
It also reminded me I ought to remember to take more video, especially of the rabbits I observe - stills only tell part of the story, after all. (Ah, for a day with a Phantom HD.. !) |

| | Re: Wildlife Documentary Trailer really well made peter! exellent editing and camerawork and nice narration too! i too am a aspiring wildlife filmmaker, nice to know that the xm2 can produce this good quality footage, im getting one to use next month aswell as a sony z1 and a panasonic varicam 2700 and much more EQ, im doing a big wildlife video shoot in my uncles suburban garden. What other EQ did you use, alos how did you get soo close to the animals?
