| | | Re: video cameras Be nice when the weather is warm enough to do that!! At the moment part of my budget has gone on thermals and multi layers of clothes though not from M&S!! We are a special breed of women!
I have taken loads of video of deer, brown hares, red kite buzzard and other birds which is only on a JVC digital video camera but I have been pleased with the results. I have just bought a part for my laptop to down load and now trying to work out how to edit after which I have not got a clue yet how to make these small video clips that you put on threads which I would love to do? Any advice would be welcome.
I love taking photos but sometimes a video captures the scene so much better.

Once you've mastered the editing all you need to do is save your edited clip as a .wmv or .avi and upload to either Google Video or YouTube. You can then embed a link to your video from your blog/website. If you need further help, just email me...

Normally there's all sorts of problems with this H&S and all that. Took the kit off, got in the water got it in the can - it went out that evening on the local news, no one the wiser. Not even the lady dog walker that passed by as I was in the water filming - thankfully the water was a little murkey to hide my modesty.

| | | Re: video cameras That made me chuckle Deer Hunter. The news will never be the same again!
Thanks for brightening my rainy morning!
My new (second hand) Canon XL1s should be on it's way to me today... all the way from Elgin in Scotland. I'm almost bursting with excitement, especially as the weather is supposed to be drying up towards the end of the week. Roll on the weekend!

I may well take you up on that. I need to get a new battery for it (before it arrives) so I'm off to search the internet for "special offers".... I've got to stop spending money!

| | | Re: video cameras Soooo, is there an ideal camera that i can get for about 500 quid, id give my right arm for one of those cannon jobs but 5000 on a video camera may give me the chance of getting close to wild life as id be living in the Dog house lol by the way i asked a question on simple video cameras on that forum, me thinks video cam snobbery is alive and well and on the net! | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
