stills via Disgo dual cam

Although primarily used for video the cheap Disgo Fun camera takes fair stills too I'm not a fan of in-camera interpolation to make bigger images but the Disgo cope well with 1280 x 960p interpolation from 640 x 480 VGAs as shown in these sample pics.

I've set the in-camera sharpen to 'soft' and sharpened them later with PaintshopPro - the in-camera 'normal' and 'hard' sharpening is somewhat too harsh for me

The model aircraft pic is post 'sharpened' in the lower half. Hope this little tutorial of interest

Here's a full size extract from in-camera interpolated 1.3K 1280x960p image in soft, normal and hard in-camera sharpening - note the black/white edge effect from latter lower pair.

Top right = in-camera soft + post sharpening USM for a clearer image but some jpg artefact that normally disappear when the image is downsized slightly - hope it's of interest

I've also note that dull winter days produce muted colour via the cam but boosted via in-camera 'vivid' colour or 'high' colour saturation settings
