Video wildlife camera under £200

There must be some really useful pocket sized cameras out there, something
with a reasonable closeup facility for things like Hoverflies and a decent long
-end for birds and the odd Lochness monster sightings
£200 seems to be a reasonable sum that people might be willing to pay.

Canon and JVC both do camcorders with 35x zoom for well under £200 - just put 'camcorder 35x uk' into your search engine. The Canon range has EIS too for those with shaky hands.

Bump....surely someone experienced in such things can give us some pointers to decent models,that cost around the £200 mark.I tried the movie mode on my Panasonic FZ50,I was not expecting miracles,but would like to capture some better quality movies,to view on my monitor or home T.V.
