As a new guy to this site there don't seem to be any mention of wildlife video photography.
Anybody out there into video

I started looking into it round xmas but was put off by the price of the decent kit - there are a couple of other keen videographers on the site including stuartdh who i belive has a canon 1xl

you cant currently put clips on wab - or at least you couldnt when i last looked into it , people were using Utube and the like but how that stands with the moritorium on linking to images on other websites i couldnt tell you.

Hi Guys this is my first post,
I video a fair bit, I’m out tomorrow at first light to get (hopefully) some footage of Kingfishers diving for small fish.

I have two Canon cam’s, the small XM2 and it’s bigger brother XL2 I will use the xm2 as a wide shot, and the xl2 on telephoto covering two wooden posts that are in the river, I’ve seen them in this area in the past, I think it maybe a bit hit and miss though.

There is no problem with linking to outside websites for video
