| | | Video Clips on my site A few months ago I loaded up one single video clip on my own web site but when I came to play it, it wouldn't open up. I started a thread on this problem in WAB and after many suggestions and pieces of advice I was still left with the image not opening. Imagine my surprise when I just happened to click into it today (I don't even know why I did it) but it actually opened up ok.
I have quite a few video clips on my PC so decided to try and get most of them on so I have now edited 31 of them to play in the WMV format and up uploaded them all.
They all seem to be opening up ok but I wonder if they do for you guys. Some of them are not British Birds (but I can't do anything about that). If you get the chance could some of you try a few out and see if they open up ok.
None of them are brilliant clips, as they have been taken with CP4500 not a video camera, but some of them are quite rare birds so it is always worth getting record video footage rather than nothing at all.
I have placed them into my Recent Photos section and here is a link to it. - New photos
Thanks to those that give the time to check it out for me.

| | | Re: Video Clips on my site Now that's quite strange as before I think almost everyone but me could open them up. Now it seems the other way around.
These are all Windows Media files so they should play ok.
Any ideas anyone?

Here is an interesting article which explains it all - Choosing the best video format for your web site.
Perhaps flash is the way to go?

To do that I would need somebody to guide me through the process.
I must admit that I am surprised though as I thought that most people had Windows Media installed and if so surely the videos would play.
