What a Gorgeous Sunny Day

Today was a big disappointment. The fog never lifted all day, neither did the temperature, stuck at 8 deg all day. No doubt the forecasters will all be saying what a great day it was.

its boiling today in huddersfield the temp in my sauna of a flat is 80+.

Too sunny. Too hot. I don't trust it at all. I wish it would rain, like usual.

We have a thermometer in our garden which when in the shade just before lunchtime was reading just over 10 degrees. Once the sun got on it after lunch it went up to 20 degrees and by mid afternoon it was nearly 30 degrees.

I have to admit it was feeling more like mid summer than early spring so I made sure when I got to sit down it was in the shade

It's almost 4 weeks since we had any serious rain here in Sheffield!

I even had to buy a new UV lamp for the pond ... it was turning into a huge vat of pea soup

Looks like the weather Bubble is about to Burst.. Forecast is for heavy rain towards end of Sunday and into next week

I hope so, it's dry as a bone here, really in need of some rain for the garden and to help the Shroom's along.

I hope so too - we've not had anything beyond a little fine drizzle here for over 6 weeks now. The pond, which was overflowing on to the path in February, is now looking as though it could do with a top-up.

I went out in garden today to dig some more of area we are going to plant a hreb Garden in.. and the ground is solid couldn't get the spade in more then an inch So looks like I am going to have to wait for the rain before i can do any more!

I have had to water mine as its so dry and the seeds i have planted stand no chance without water..i cant remember the last time it rained !!!
