| | | Re: What a Gorgeous Sunny Day Anyone know the song "Beautiful Day" by the Levellers? Every time I see the title of this thread I think of it.
It's a shame I have to work today, all those missed photo opportunities.

| | | Re: What a Gorgeous Sunny Day Finally turned into a glorious sunny day here in Lancashire, we had drizzle and mist at 7am and at 2pm the sun broke through and what a difference.

| | Re: What a Gorgeous Sunny Day Because I live in a city I've come to have a kind of urban, human-based phenology. First signs of summer are:
1. First bit of sunburn (passed that milestone already)
2. first sighting of a bloke in shorts (saw one tonight)
3. someone driving a convertible with the top down (2 of them last week)
4. or playing really, really loud music with their car window open (ditto... unfortunately)
5. people standing drinking on the street outside the pubs, in advance of the smoking ban (today)
It must be summer then. Until it rains... |

| | | Re: What a Gorgeous Sunny Day I have spent all of easter weekend working in the garden and as well as being well on the way now of getting the different areas sorted and having a great time watching butterflies, ladybirds, bees and many other mini beasts enjoying the sun and the warmth. I also have started to get a tan, so I won't look anemic come the summer
They reckon Friday could be about 24 degrees

| | | Re: What a Gorgeous Sunny Day We had a very misty start to the day here on the north Kent coast, but then the mist burnt off and the afternoon was lovely, though the sea breeze still had a little nip. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
