| | | Re: Snow to return I hope my tadpoles survive they only hatched the other day. I think I will scoop them into a bucket until the cold snap has past.
Maybe the frogs that were mating on Wednesday Knew something as nothing came of the mate. The birds have been eating more as they always do before bad weather is forecast |

| | | Re: Snow to return I love the snow and the only thing I really don't like about being in the South West is we don't get proper winters like we did in Northumberland. But I am a bit worried about my birds, but we've got a massive tub of meal worms and plenty of other good stuff for them (I swear our bird table is the reason they are all in perfect feather!). Mind you mum and I did seriously discussing weather it would be feasible to bring any early Hedgehogs in out of the cold....

| | | Re: Snow to return We had a light snow shower and some heavy hail in the night during our trip to Edale this weekend. For anybody that has not been I would recommend it. Pete and I had some good walks although the weather was not really conducive to great photography (I do like this candid that I managed to get though Andrew Hunter Photography: Showcased: Rambler)
It rained both nights but the site had good drainage and it was not too much of a problem. We met some fell runners last night and what a nice bunch of people they were (maybe a Northern thing?) but very talkative and genuine and it turned out a couple of them were a bit good too - a couple of British Champions by all accounts

Thank goodness the snow has now stopped as it was settling.
