Autumn seems to be getting under way here in London. 
I'd be interested to see what it looks like now in the far south west and the far north.

I'm not in the far north, but I took some photos of the Rowans just outside my garden on the 11th of September. 
We've had quite a bit of wind since then and most of those leaves have gone now. A lot of the Birch leaves are turning yellow and falling as well. I'm going to just north of Perth on Saturday, going past some proper broad-leaved woodland. It will be interesting to see what stage those trees are at.

For me, nothing says "Autumn" like dew-laden spiders' webs in misty, golden sunlight.    
One of the arachnids responsible... 
All taken at Elmley Marshes early yesterday morning, before the temperature hit 30 degrees!

The Rowans down here have been in berry since early August...& agreed on the spider webs Dave.

Our neighbor's Sycamore tree has gone a lovely yellow colour and we have had the first heavy frost this morning.
