| | | Re: Glorious day in South Yorks I've been working today so couldn't get far, but I've just "walked" the garden and I've got lots of primroses out as well as all the snowdrops and hellebores, the rosemary is flowering already and even one of the hydrangeas has got leaves unfurling from the buds. Hope we don't get any heavy frosts |

| | | Re: Glorious day in South Yorks And here's me at work, looking over the office rooftops at the blue sky. Thankfully it's the weekend and I will be off on a long trawl late tonight.
The weather reports look good for everywhere tomorrow so hopefully it will be a good un for all of you.

Whereabouts is this picture taken - I can't make my mind up - it looks either like the field at the end of Rackford Road or Greenlands Park?

Same in Nottinghamshire. This is from the banks of the Trent at Hoveringham, a birding hotspot for the county that's commonly a ferociously windy place, the sort that really makes you earn your birding points. Calm as a daisy today though, really peaceful stuff, a nice change! |

I'm so jealous Tinkerbell. I love Whitby but only discovered it recently. It's a bit far to drive from here in S. Lincs but I've got a day trip booked for 4th of March and I can't wait. Hope the weather is as good as it is today. |

| | | Re: Glorious day in South Yorks Been lovely in kent today.. Been in the garden emptying a pond we inherited that has been totally neglected for years.. has about a foot of leaves and sludge at the bottom ( great fertilizer for my garden) Dug up all over grown Bushes and weeds.. Now just got to clean the pond.. and refill it.. and make a Bog garden around the pond... is really great to finally start work on my wildlife section of the garden
