| | | Who had snow this weekend? Looking at the weather forecasts over the weekend it looked like we were due to get quite a bit of snow between Thurs and today.
Good old weathermen, wrong again
So who did get it? I had a look on the webcams through the midlands and north west during the past few days but couldn't see any anywhere.
Looks like the sledge will have to go back in the garage for another week |

| | | Re: Who had snow this weekend? Quite heavy in Crawley saturday morning and also heading down towards the south coast.
Continued well up to midday then turned to sleet and rain and it had all gone by 2ish.
Thank god really because my car does not like snow |

| | Re: Who had snow this weekend? I havn't seen a good fall of snow for about fourty years. I did manage to see an exciting shower just after Christmas when down near Oxford but up here in the Wirral we never get any. I have recently returned to England to live after half my life in Western Australia. When I was a youngster we used to have heavy drifts of snow every year. Think I will go and live over on the East side of the country. |

| | | Re: Who had snow this weekend? We travelled back from Cornwall on Sunday - frost and mist for much of the journey until we got well up into Devon, where there was a little snow falling for a short while. The depleted remains of a snowman were still to be found in the garden here in North Yorkshire, where sledging had been the order of the day just before New Year. |

| | | Re: Who had snow this weekend? Snow - it's that white stuff which comes sometimes in the winter, and for which you buy new boots to keep your feet warm. Only you don't put them on to go out in the snow, as you might spoil them!!! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
