Frozen Norfolk Broads
This year has been bad again for the water birds on the Norfolk Broads.

Same here in Sandbach, we have canals, fishing pools, meres all of which were frozen over in the recent cold spell with about 4 inches of ice. At least people have been feeding the ducks and swans but it must make them more open to predation.

I noticed that Wroxham Broad was still half frozen yesturday, but it did make it easier to see the 1st winter drake scaup and redhead smew that were there.
