Darn it, nothing here near York yet, although one of my colleagues live in Scarborough & he said it was snowing there this morning.

I noticed last year our local bus drivers came in two varieties:
1. Native born.
2. European.
The difference was really rather startling.
Var. 1 'Snow, can't get up that 10% slope, sorry. All off!'
Var. 2 'Snow, What slope?'

Heavy snow here too. The sheep and ponies are huddled together, backs to the wind. The goats, chucks and ducks are all snug in bed. All the other animals are indoors. The drive has been gritted. Coal fire is lit. Let it snow!!
