| | | Horizontal Rain Its awful up here, heavy rain and strong gusting winds, I think all the migrating birds have taken the sun and blue sky with them. Just seeing im in doors off to the airport where he will be getting soaking wet unloading papers, and luggage and seeing people off onto the 3 planes today.
Whats it like in other peoples places....no pictures today |

| | | Re: Horizontal Rain Gently drizzling here in Pork Pie town. Still lots of little birds around here and I also have 3 fat woodpigeons waddling around the garden looking for scraps of food. In fact one of them has just hopped up to the window and looked in!

| | | Re: Horizontal Rain The rain is easing slightly but still windy. Although not my era, I am doing my accounting work with the Beach Boys surfing songs blaring through my earphones, makes me think of sunny days.

| | | Re: Horizontal Rain It's just arriving here. Started out dull and grey, but calm.
And we've done our accounts, Dbozkurt! Oh, joy, yippee! They've spoiled many a good Christmas!
Are you an accountant?

| | | Re: Horizontal Rain I am a qualified accountant, working as a freelance financial consultant for the Western Isles Health Board since May. Working in Stornoway in the week, staying in Benbecula at weekends. Because of the remoteness of the isles the Council Offices and Health Boards mostly close. So I decided to work from home this week, good move as most of the ferries are cancelled....and the chocolates are here!!!
We just a brief interlude when we drove down to the Co-op but a herring gull got blown into the windscreen of the Discovery, I made Dave stop and the gull did fly away. It was the strengh of the wind but Dave thought it had eaten too many Christmas Puddings
Clouds are now thickening
