| | | That Yellow thing has returned I'm talking about the Sun, the last time it was seen here in my part of Lincolnshire was Monday the 18th December. Been the dullest dreariest period I can remember for a long time. Let's hope it puts in more regular appearances from now on

We are due for some severe gales tomorrow and Saturday. Is anyone else out there suffering from itchy trigger finger, I even started taking pictures of tinsel to help releive the withdrawl symptoms

| | | Re: That Yellow thing has returned Here in Lancashire we have been out into Plock Wood and came home wet through due to the mist - it was one of those days when you do not realise you are getting soaked. It's still dark and has started to rain.

Bet it will be foggy tomorrow because it's my long weekend off.

| | | Re: That Yellow thing has returned It's dull, wet, wet and dull and finally dull here in Nottingham. Serves me right for bragging just before Christmas when we had one day of sun whilst everyone else had fog.
I went out yesterday, took my camera, more just to remember what it looked and felt like. |

| | | Re: That Yellow thing has returned I've barely taken a photograph in the entire month of December, partly due to work and Christmas, but largely due to the weather The 5 day forecast for my area is dreadful, just dull and rain every day apart from Monday (by which time they will have revised their forecast no doubt).
Let's hope we have some sun in the new year

| | | Re: That Yellow thing has returned I know what you mean Matt, I'm dying to try the new macro lens out, or take any photo for that matter, but the weather and work have put a damper on things. Oh well, it can only get better I hope.
