I just saw it too on ITV - I am glad no one was killed. Unfortunately six people were hurt but from the damage caused to the properties it is lucky it wasn't much worse. |

Sitting in Uni today, we noticed the weather change and gales kick up in a flash, we happned to joke it looked like a tornado was on the way. It was a huge shock to see one on the news after that! I was about 44 miles from London so it may have been the tail end of something. |

It had to happen they (tornadoes) have been in open country or offshore for the most part
they are more frequent than we realise and only when they hit an urban area do we get some sense of their destructive power
