| | | Ice Crystals on Moss After a fairly barren spell with the camera - too much time at work - I came across this at the weekend. A heavy frost had formed these beautiful crystals on a small clump of moss on top of one of the dry-stone walls.
I've never seen any quite of this shape before and thought them worth a shot. Camera was Canon EOS40D + Sigma 150mm Macro at f16. I didn't have the right equipment with me otherwise I'd have tried a focus stack shot to try and increase the amount that is in focus. It looks best if you click to view it and the click again to get the full size version.
