| | | Happy median After enjoying a walk today in cooler temperatures but lovely sunshine, I wondered how much warmer the UK would need to become, before we began consuming less energy in order to warm our homes and live our lives. If a consistently warmer climate became the norm, our future homes would perhaps need to be built differently with emphasis put on shading and less need for double glazing etc.

If my partner had it her way the heating would be on all day everyday but I'd happily make do without any heating.
The tester will be to see how long winter lasts for. |
