I was lucky enough tonight to get a lift to my local Supermarket, I arrived around 9pm to find the shelves stripped of essentials. You could clearly see that there had been a surge of Panic Buying in the store.
Anyone else seen signs of Panic Buying? |

When it snows, poor conditions on the road delays deliveries.
Also, most supermarkets I've visited the past week have been clearing their shelves of left over Christmas stock so there's a bit of depletion anyway.
I've not seen any signs of 'panic' buying, other than people taking advantage of all the half price fancy cheeses and pates left over! |

Bread and milk in short supply too. But I don't care - I can live on chocolate and cake, washed down with ginger beer, for weeks if necessary!

bbc news tonight was harping on about the number of loafs of bread left in shops at lunch time, so they prob helped drive people out to shop. no doubt in a week the bread that was pb will be in the bin as they all ready had more than enough at home
