Daffodils, on the other hand, have been showing green shoots for a month or so. They have done this for the last few years and tend to put on some early grown and then stay the same for a month or more before they start growing again. |

| | | Re: spring bulbs peeping through... Nice vid nytecam. Thanks, I enjoyed that. I have a liking for sky-backed trees whether they be in leaf or not, especially at sunset/twilight which I think of as a magical Gone With the Wind moment.
My own bulbs are showing less than half an inch but it gives me a lift to see them. It must be all the rain forcing them into life. As there are clouds of midges still dancing above ground, I'm wondering if it has had the same effect for them.
