Strong Winds Forecast

Not quite a sever weather warning, but the MET office have still issued a press release that strong winds should be expected

I was going to go into the Peaks at the weekend to take some pictures of the autumn leaves - I hope they don't blow away before I get there

Yes, I'm still debating whether to go and get the ferry this late afternoon/evening, or in the early hours of tomorrow morning!

We're starting to get some occasional big gusts up here in Cheshire and one of the trees in a garden over the road (not sure what it is but it has amazing peach coloured leaves in autumn) has been all but stripped this morning

I think I'd choose this afternoon for the ferry, it looks like the winds are still developing and so if you're quick you might miss them this afternoon. Looks like they won't be dying off until tomorrow afternoon.
