| | | Re: Extreme Weather Reports We had rain overnight and it started off very misty and humid here on the coast. However, the sun is burning the mist off rapidly now and it looks as though it could be another hot and sunny day. I hope so! I don't want rain at the weekend, I am travelling to see a friend in Arundel on Saturday and staying overnight! We are hoping to get to the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust's Wetland Centre there, but I don't want to get too wet!

| | | Re: Extreme Weather Reports There were some spectacular displays of lightning overnight here, but fortunately for us, not too close. 23mm of rain to 09.00GMT. It is still overcast and damp, but the air does feel a bit clearer than yesterday.
Like sunnydale...I too love thunderstorms in spite of having been in a house that was struck by lightning! |

I looked at the forecast this morning, it saying there were thunderstorms and heavy showers on the way in the next couple of hours. I decided to stay in - and nothing materialized!!! Ah well... |

Ah well... | Ditto! We were forecast very heavy showers that might cause problems on the roads, etc. and all we've had is sunshine with a bit of cloud cover and feeling very humid (could do with a nice thunderstorm to clear the air )!

| | | Re: Extreme Weather Reports Yep not as widespread as first forecast and I was looking forward to a good thunderstorm, we haven't had one for ages lol. Looks like it's going to continue to get warmer in the next few days though, so maybe a chance later on next week.

| | | Re: Extreme Weather Reports Still sunny and warm here too, looks like we might just be on the edge of the storm so may/may not get it, the other half was in S.Wales last night & they had fantastic displays of fork lightning etc.
