I saw something on this on the BBC news/weather yesterday .. I've never heard of them before! Couldn't see any here .. but to be honest, not really sure what I'm looking for. Going to have a look at your pictures full-sized, nytecam, and your vid!

That's a great video, nytecam .. absolutely stunning sky! Must tell my sister, she was telling me there was a great sky with wispy clouds when she was down on the Ashdown forest (nightjar spotting) a couple of nights ago. This is probably what she would have seen?
