Seconded as per Ron's comments, great work and diligence Nytecam  We had a cracking storm too with torrential rain, unfortunately I was collecting the Chinese takeaway at the time! |

great pics of the lightning ! we had a storm recently too but was on the edge of it so only had thunder ,but did have a kingsize headache ! birmingham had it as 5 boys were struck by lightning under a tree --once has died . i`m scared stiff of thunderstorms especially lightning ! sue |

I totally agree with everyone else apropos the photos but I have to confess that, like Sue, I too am terrified of thunderstorms. I think it is the amount of uncontrollable power that is unleashed. Having said that, it is nature's ultimate viewing spectacle - when I am brave enough to stick my head above the parapet. And, of course, it is also nature reminding us all just who's boss at the end of the day. |

Well captured and nice pictures to see
I have to say though if you only 4 strikes in a 20 minute period this was not a very strong/ active thunderstorm. | | | |
