Spied and snapped this unusual cloud formation ~10.30AM this morning from the garden - it appeared as a small tear in the cloud with inner 'condensation' Any ideas?

looks as though a plane has flown through it and disturbed the cloud.

I would agree there, it's what's called a "distrail" short for dissipation trail. The heat from the exhaust gases turns the water droplets in the cloud back into water vapour creating a trail where the plane has flown through, sort of the opposite of a contrail I think. Great shot nytecam.
