| | | BBC weather website changed I find the older style of the BBC weather website suits me best as it gives me rain, temp + wind together. I now find that I can only access the new weather graphics which shows a sliding bar along the bottom but gives less weather information. I cannot find a way to view the older style graphics. Does anyone know how to do that please?

| | | Re: BBC weather website changed I liked the old site too. My 'local' forcast is not local at all now!! The distance between my actual postcode and where they get the weather reading from is a huge difference in terms of the weather you get there and her. February was a perfect exaple - where I live had quite a hefty covering of snow but when I got to Avonmouth there was nothing.
There doesn't seem to be a way to get the old interface back - we're stuck with it.

| | | Re: BBC weather website changed Unfortunately all weather forecasts seem to be going the same way - the people making the decisions seem to thing that we only want to know the temperature and whether it will be sunny.
I use metcheck now but it's not as good as the bbc one used to be. |

| | | Re: BBC weather website changed I want a website that gives Dawn and Dusk times as well as weather (a tide table would be useful as well )

| | | Re: BBC weather website changed nightshade, if it's any help, I use Metcheck for sunset / sunrise times for bat surveying. Just pop in the post code of the property or of one close to the area of interest and click either Today or whatever day of the week you want.
I also carry a paper copy of s/s - s/r issued by the HM Nautical Almanac Office, thta's a useful site as well. |
