| | | Photographing Lightning Has anyone achieved good results using a DSLR?
It seems to give a warm summer this time which should increase the likelyhood of Thunderstorms and I'd really like to get some good digital images of lightning.
I have always been fascinated by electrical storms and used to photograph it using an old 35mm SLR using the Bulb setting with a remote release and the camera mounted on a tripod, it was still very much trial and error but I did get some pretty pleasing images, this was my best taken in August 2005.
I'd just like to have a heads up on settings etc... so I can capture the moment when it occurs instead of missing out due to operator error. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
