Hmmm... will this thread catch on? Will it rise like a hot air balloon or fall down the boards like rain? It includes dew, the six o-clock sun, sun dogs and other cloud formations, snow, rain, rainbows, the wind blowing through different grasses... this thread can be for anything weathery at all.

Anyway, mine will have to be early-morning dew. I got out earlier than usual when the sun was still trying to peep over house roofs and everything was early and quiet, almost unnaturally silent except for bird song. The dew was all over the garden benches and glistening on wide blades of grass, reflecting the blue sky.

Good thread Jason. My son was at a party the other night (he was supposed to sleep over) and phoned me at 3.30 in the morning to pick him up. After I had scraped the frost off the windscreen ( yes, frost in May) then drove and eventually found the house, we returned at about 4.30am and got out of the car, all we could hear was the dawn chorus. We both stood and listened for ages - beautiful, and he isn't into nature yet just girls and computers.
