| | | Cloudspotting. Those of you who post on this thread and are interested in the weather may like to know that there is a programme on BBC4 this Sunday at 21.30 called Cloudspotting. It is connected to the Cloud Appreciation Society whose web site is full of photos of clouds and information about them and nothing else!
I should warn you though that it is 90 minutes long and even for a seasoned cloudspotter and very interested amateur in all things cloud related like me, that is a L O N G time! I suspect that the recorder will take it for me and I shall watch it in bite sized pieces as I do the ironing over the next few weeks! |

| | | Re: Cloudspotting. Is this like Dog Clouds, or whatever that rainbow thing is called? Please correct me...
Could be interesting, especially for a subject where the individual may not think much material could come from it... |

Yes, thanks Nick - that's the one. I wonder how many people will be looking skyward on Monday morning... |

So am I, sunnydale!....much to the amusement of many of my friends. I tend to look at the site when I get email updates, like the one that alerted me to the programme and when I've nothing better to do! Keep promising myself that I WILL send some of my pictures to them one day, but never seem to get around to it.
Do you think that we might start a clouds thread on here, or has it already been tried? |

I love laying in an open field and staring up at the sky, trying to find images in the clouds.
I'll never grow up

D. | Careful what you say, Dutchess!!!...I was one of those in a former life!
Seriuosly though, you want to point your friend in the direction of the CAS web site, sounds like he would thoroughly enjoy it.
I'll chance starting a cloud thread in the next day or so to coincide with the programme, after all, it is to do with the weather, isn't it? | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
