Today bright and sunny clear sky but cold,things seem to be on the up but have been warned to get colder again by the turn of the week

Snowed for a couple of hours late yesterday pm, but road out front is now completely clear of snow - at last! Lovely and sunny today, too

Most of the snow has gone but what is left has frozen.

Yes I too agree thats its nice to have it back again,, and being put under the UK weather thread too where it should be. it was cold today but the sun did shine for most of it. sheila .

Nice day, not sunny, but overcast. A lot milder than Thursday and Friday, still some snow around. Out walking on the Yorkshire Coast tommorrow in the Scaling Dam area, so should be plenty of snow there.

Very springlike! Sunny, mild, very light wind! Have been fieldworking on a south facing beach, cliffs were acting like a suntrap! Roll on the longer, warmer days!!!

Dull day and still a bit chilli. took the opportunity to wash all the feeders in garden, took some time and my fingers went completely numb

ouch!

Have heard that strange word MILD being used with weatherforcast too Muddy

Lovely sunny day yesterday, and all snow on roads gone now so thought it might be nice to get out and about to some local events - was supposed to be a snowdrop and hellebore event at Coton Manor, and thought it might be nice to get there, but forgot that there is still a fair bit of snow cover around and the event has been postponed until mid/later this week .. oh well, had a nice drive out anyway

Bit dull this morning though, but not that cold (haven't even turned the heating on

).

Overcast and quite mild here, currently at 6C. Doing a coastal walk this morning, then need to wash and wax the car later - it's supposed to be green, at the moment it's varying shades of mud!

Sounds like it would make a good bird-hide, Muddyfeet - you'd be well camouflaged

Dull and overcast but a lot warmer than of late can see the grass for a change instead of snow but still plenty over the mountains

A bit dull, but not too cold so far no heating, I'm sure that will change later, and I have even managed to peg a bit of washing out

Lovely springy start here today, sunny and mild, seems to be clouding over a bit but nevermind .. at least the snow has gone, and I'm glad it has - it all looks very pretty but not very conjucive to getting out and about and got a bit fed up being stuck indoors

Now I'll be able make a start on making my wildlife garden

After last week's freezing, snowy weather, yesterday and this morning is lovely and mild with the odd sun here and there.

Once my washing's done, I'm off to do some cycling.
