Whats your weather like today?

Woke up to the sound of rain today - seems so long since we had any I just listened to it for a while.

Yesterday's weather was a bit different - patches of hill mist interspersed with sunny spells, giving faint rainbows as the sun broke through, and warm too.

A touch cloudy but with the occassional burst of sunshine quite warm too compared to yesterday

Just seen local weather forecast on the news

early this year over 2000 ft snow falls are a possibility that brings in the Cairngorms and the Mountain areas

starting really early this year.

I was walking my dog this afternoon, just to the west of Aviemore, and though there was brilliant sunshine, there was quite a bite in the air, so I wouldn't be surprised to see snow or a frost.

If we get snow, I'll try to get a picture and post it here.

Cloudy again for the second day in a row,the sun is visible but only just,which raises my hopes a bit for some sunshine

I didn't manage to get a photo, but there is a small amount of snow on the highest peaks of the Cairngorms. There was brilliant sunshine this morning, but cloud over the mountains, it wasn't until this afternoon that I saw the snow, and only by using binoculars, so couldn't get a photo. It was also very cold first thing, not much above freezing, so time to look out my gloves.

Dull start, but starting to brighten up a bit, pretty cold though. A bit more snow on the Cairngorms overnight.

Cloudy and sunny , there has been a slight chill in the air, first cooler day since last winter. no rain though which we desperately need . temp 17.6 .

it has been miserable here all week, except thursday when it was quite warm. heavy rain and strong winds today, im not looking forwards to my driving lesson!
