| | | Re: Whats your weather like today? Very rough last night. 1 3/4 inches (460mm) of rain. Winds to 65mph.
One of our finest old trees came down.
100 year-old, 80ft. tall Spruce. The grand-children had various swings hanging from it.
Plenty of good firewood though
But a lot of work clearing it up.

Dorts. | Oh no, what a shame. But don't forget to leave some of it there for a new habitat Dorts.

| | | Re: Whats your weather like today? Crikey, that's such a shame that such an old established tree has been uprooted. Goes to show how powerful nature can be, even here in Britain!
Today in Sheffield, strong winds, dry and only a little variable cloud with temperature of around 8 degrees.

| | Re: Whats your weather like today? Today it has been mostly cold, hardly any cloud and sunshine! Which is a shame as I went for a walk on Saturday when is was cold and cloudy and could have done with some sun to cheer up the photos I took around Plumpton Wood and Seasell Wood in Northamptonshire! |
